Planning permission for the new playground next to the community centre has finally been approved and tenders for completion of the project are due to be issued within the coming weeks.
This has been a massive effort by the local community and I would personnaly like to that all those involved in the organising committee.
To date over €150,000 has been raised locally for the project through donations from local business owners and the many fund-raising campaigns organised by the community association.
